Discovering Yeshua
At the age of seventeen, while living in Argentina, I began searching for truth. I decided to read the Bible from beginning to end, from Genesis to Revelation. I completed the entire Bible in about three months.
After reading the Scriptures, I prayed a simple prayer:
“If You exist, and Your Son is Yeshua, then reveal this to me.”
God answered that prayer in a powerful and miraculous way. From that moment, I knew that Yeshua was the Messiah. My life changed completely.
As I continued reading the Scriptures, I also began keeping the Sabbath. However, my Jewish parents strongly opposed my faith in Yeshua. What followed was a very difficult season of persecution within my own home.
Faith through persecution
My parents believed that faith in Yeshua was incompatible with being Jewish. Because of my faith, I experienced verbal and physical persecution. Yet during this time, God repeatedly showed me that He was with me. There were moments when I saw His protection and intervention in ways I could never forget.
Through these experiences, I learned something that would shape my faith for the rest of my life: people may be able to hurt the body, but they cannot take away the faith that God has placed within the soul.
One verse became especially meaningful to me during this season:
“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me.”
Psalm 27:10
Returning to Israel
After six months of conflict over my faith, my parents decided to send me away. In 1982, at the age of eighteen, I returned to Israel. My parents believed that sending me back to Israel would cause me to forget about Yeshua. Instead, the opposite happened.
In Israel, I met Jewish believers in Yeshua for the first time. I discovered that I was not alone. There were other Jewish people who believed that Yeshua was the Messiah while still embracing their Jewish identity. This became a major turning point in my life.
When I arrived in Israel, I learned Hebrew and began studying the history of the Jewish people and the Land of Israel at Tel Aviv University. Several years later, I married a British man and moved to Britain in 1986, where I learned English and continued my education. I later studied at Cambridge, completing:
- A BA in History
- An MA in Jewish-Christian Relations at Wesley College
- A PGCE at Homerton College
These years of study gave me a strong foundation in history, theology, education, and Jewish-Christian relations. Looking back, I can see how God was preparing me for the ministry He would later give me.
Returning to the Land
In 2008, I returned once again to Israel. I trained to become a licensed tour guide and spent seven years guiding people through the Land of the Bible. Teaching visitors in the places where biblical events actually happened became one of the greatest privileges of my life.
The land itself became a classroom. History, archaeology, geography, language, and Scripture came together in a powerful way.
Israel Online
In 2020, everything changed. The COVID pandemic brought tourism to a complete stop. Suddenly, the work I had been doing for years was no longer possible. During that time, a close friend and intercessor encouraged me to begin teaching online. That simple suggestion became the beginning of Israel Online.
What started as online Bible teaching soon began reaching people around the world. Through YouTube and other platforms, thousands of people began connecting with teachings about Israel, biblical prophecy, the Jewish roots of the faith, and God's plan for the nations.
During this season, I also wrote my book and began traveling internationally to share the Word of God.
My calling
My calling is to bring the light of God's Word to the nations through the Messianic Jewish understanding of Scripture. As someone born Jewish and raised within the culture, history, language, and land of the Bible, I desire to help believers discover the richness of Scripture and deepen their relationship with Yeshua.
My prayer is that every teaching will strengthen your faith, deepen your understanding of God's prophetic plan, and inspire you to walk more closely with Him.
“The unfolding of Your words gives light.”
Psalm 119:130
